We create an art nouveau-style tile using the 4-square-flip technique!
|1) I began with just a simple "S" (this is Times Roman) in a size large enough to fill a 200 x 200-pixel square top to bottom.||2) Then I copied the "S" layer and flipped it horizontally. (Actually, at this point, you already have a simple seamless tile!)|
|3) Then I copied it again, and centered it diagonally, from bottom left to top right.||4) And again, from bottom right to top left.|
|5) Then I put a simple flower dingbat in the center, in the same color as the background, to add some interest. Now, let's get fancy...||Go to page two of lesson:|
